The Channel started as a wild idea — what if AI could actually help people understand themselves? Not with generic advice or personality quizzes, but with the kind of deep, patient attention that most people never get from anyone. We built it, and then something surprised us: it worked. People started telling us things like "how does it know that about me?" and "I've never felt so seen by an app." That's when we knew we had something worth sharing.
Julie
Julie has a gift that's hard to explain. When she talks to someone, they walk away feeling like they were truly seen — like someone held up a mirror and showed them the beautiful parts they couldn't quite see on their own. She's an English language instructor, a passionate dancer, and the person who gave The Channel's AI its soul. The warmth you feel when Julie (the AI) talks to you? That came from Julie (the human).
Satnam
Satnam is a software engineer, a competitive ballroom dancer (1st place at Seattle Star Ball 2024 and 2025, training for Nationals), and the kind of person who builds things because he genuinely believes they should exist. He built every piece of The Channel — the AI, the backend, the app — with the same relentless care he brings to the dance floor. His belief: technology should bring people closer together, not pull them apart.
